Maybe I'll wear this for Easter, The Hat and Skirt are of the same fabric along with the ruffles on the sleeves, This color look good with the skirt color. The jacket is made from an long knit skirt, I took advantage of the pleat in the skirt and put it in the back of my jacket along with the hem making it my hem along the edge of the jacket. It has embroidery on the front and sleeves.

Came out very nice. It good that you are small and can get a jacket from a skirt, who would have thought. Pretty pale yellow, just right for Easter. I got up this morning to a pretty yellow lily bloomed.

Fantastic upcycling! You certainly took advantage of the elements of the skirt to create this lovely jacket.

With the cost of material today it makes it much more economical to shop fabric in a recycle/ thrift store. When I am able to go to one it is trying to envision how else the material or item could be used, from material to yarn. Even better prices can be found at garage/yard/ sales but those require more energy than this body can handle any more. Love your creations!
