Hi cuties. Did you ever mess up your tension and can't seem to get it right ?I have worked all day with it .Now i am going to take it to the shop so they can fix it .

Many times, now I leave it to the experts, cheaper in the long run.

I have a brother innov-is 2500. I broke a needle and i think that is what did it .

top tension is usually about 3-4 for normal. Put it there and see what happens. Are you sure it is threaded correctly?! Did you turn the bottom tension? I adjust the tensions frequently and have no problems.

Yes, mine is between 2 and 3.That is for the embroidery machine. For the normal sewing machine it is between 4 and 5.Mine is a Janome. I wonder if other brands are different.

I just got the brother pe700 and I was wondering what the tention should be set on also. anyone out there have the same machine ???

Oh Briauna I have done that way back n the past, what a problem & it is so frustrating. The machine I have now automatically sets tension to factory set or I can change it. I like that feature. Hope u get it bacik soon. *4U
