Oh what a horrible stressful few weeks I have had my DH has had his long awaited open heart operation but he had a bad reaction to the anaesthetic it felt as if I was living at the hospital, he is now back home and things are getting back to normal slowly so I have managed to get another three blocks done for my quilt have not yet quilted the blocks will do so at a later stage

Have not been here awhile because of quilting and your blocks just came up and WOW. I especially love the swirl one with the gold circle. Is that paper piecing? Can I order that pattern from somewhere?

Thanks for the kind words that block is called tiqula (spelling) sunrise it was a free block I got on Internet I Googled free paper piecing patterns and a lot came up

So glad your husband is getting better and your life is settling down. The blocks are absolutely gorgeous. Your choice of fabric and the pattern designs are great. Keep up the great work and finding a good relaxing time. ;-)
