When is the Prom for most students? Our Australian students have their 'formal' as they call it here, usually at the end of or almost at the end of the Year 12 [this is the final year of High School] and they are all about 17 or 17 and a half. Everyone dresses beautifully as well. Probably takes up much discussion, when they should be studying for the Final Exams.

Vickiannette, Lanie just turned 17 and she is close to the end of her Junior year. One more year of high school and then college, as she has kept her grades up.
