I seem to have been giving my spare bedroom an uplift for weeks now - will post a picture when finished.
I saw something like this when I was shopping the other day and decided to try and make the same. Was not as easy as I thought. I have posted here because there is a bit of embroidery on two of the hearts. If I ever do anything like this again I must use thicker material.

I think that working on tiny things are always more difficult to do, especially getting the embroidery just where you want it. I think it's a darling project! What was the most difficult thing for you to do when making them?

Thank you Penny for your comment. The most difficult thing was working out how to insert the string.

It really looks great. Are they scented as well? Just wondering.

Funnily enough, my DH suggested the same thing

Wow! Sarah these are darling. How big did they end up? And tell us how did you get the string to go through so easily! Love them. Love Chris

Hi Chris, I was going to try and get the string through with a long needle but with all the stuffing it seemed very difficult. In the end I cut lengths of string and attached with fabric glue and then sewed into the seam. They are not very big about 4/ 5 inches across.

This is adorable. Did you use an upholstery needle to get the yarn through the center?

Thank you Jerrilyn. I have answered your question in Chris's post. The hearts are rather a strange shape but I cut out freehand.
