It's beautiful, I can almost smell the scent. I have never seen it like this too, only as a climber. But I love the way it grows at your place. it's gorgeous. Thank you for sharing this picture. Hugs/love Gerry

Our Wisteria is wrapped around our Jacaranda tree and has just had some flowers, finished now though. Lovely picture Angie, love Chris

Just sad that the bloom does not last very long, but seeing in it's glory twice a year is good enough for me.

I feel so sorry for people that deal with allergies specially this time of year when mother nature burst out in blooms.

sieht toll aus, als "Baum" habe ich das noch nicht gesehen, in meinem letzten Garten hatte ich die Wisteria in weiss und in lila am Gartenzaun entlang ranken lassen; so ein Baum sieht viel eleganter aus :-), liebe Grüße Maria

Ja der Baum ist etwas ausergewoehnliches. Bin wohl die einzige in der Nachbarschaft mit einem. Gruesse auch an Dich.

Super! Habe die Wisteria auch noch nie als Baum gesehen. Habt Ihr das selbst gezogen / geschnitten? Never saw the wisteria as a tree so far. Did you "educate" or cut it yourself that way? Very beautiful. My friend in Lincoln/UK used to have a large Wisteria around her house too. Hugs and Happy Colourful Spring to you - Maria

Ich habe die Wisteria als Baum gekauft. Das war vor 2 Jahren. Hatte sie noch nie in diesem Format gesehen und das hat mir gefallen. Hoffe nur dass der Stamm staerker wird.

Danke - dann halte ich mal bei uns in der Gegend Ausschau! Vielleicht gibt es den Wisteria-Baum irgendwann in deutschen Baumschulen :-)

Very beautiful. My mil had one grown like this. Now most of it has grown it's way up, and spring brings a purple top 80 feet up in the pine trees.

We also have wisteria in S. Africa but I have never seen it grown like this. Looks amazing
