Carolyn- Your faith is strong, you know the Lord has his hand over all, may He continue to speak peace to your heart and mind, May Donnie continue to feel your heart felt love and prayers for him, and the medical staff be able to best know how to assist him while he is in their care, and mostly that you and all those who love and care for Donnie that you each will be comforted while he is far from you, where you are feeling like you are not able to help watch over him, like you would like to be able to do.. Your pleas for prayers and support for your brother, is the way you ARE able to continue to watch over your loved ones. In your response to graceandham, you said it is not over til it's over, and my thought to respond is that even then, it is not really over, your brother would just be on the other side of the veil learning what is the next step that our Heavenly Father had in his plan, and that plan is so much bigger than just this time we spend living these lives we have. Learning to trust in the Lord, learning to try to walk a journey that brings us closer to our Savior so that when we do pass from this life that He would be pleased with what we have done with the talents he had blessed us with in this life. Granted we do rejoice when our loved ones are able to over come their earthly trials and are able to remain living with us here, though our hearts may ache if that is not the case, there would be rejoicing in the heavens when your ancestors and parents wrap their arms around their child, yet again. Hopefully that reunion will still be a ways off for your brother, but that reunion will be a joyful one, when it comes that time for him. The hope is, that when it comes time for each of us to pass from this life, that it will be a passing that was not full of anguish and suffering that it would be more of an easy passing. I know tonight will be one when your heart and mind are going to be continually thinking and praying in your brothers behalf, and my mind will be thinking of you both. Your family will continue to be prayed over in these coming hours and days. ((Hugs)) Pam
