Tee shirts made for my grandchildren. Its two years since I embroidered any tee shirts and my memory was a little hazy. In holding some of the excess fabric out of the way with a clothes peg it got in the way and caused the stitching to go out of alignment as seen in the first picture. I turned the machine off and on again but the problem wasn't solved, so I turned the machine off and went for a walk to the fabric shop. Two hours later the machine was fine and I was able to finish the design and carefully unpick the problem stitches. All the designs are from Urban Threads. The zip shirt is for Gruff and I need to buy some larger shirts for Twm. Yesterday was the first time that I have spent so long just embroidering since we moved in 2015. Thanks for looking

These are great! Glad the giving the machine a "Time Out" did the trick! Hmm how'd I miss these designs at Urban Threads?

I have had the zip design for about 3 years and the bow sometime last year but only sewed it out yesterday. Yes time out as with naughty children did the trick

Good idea to walk away and come back later. Looks like it did the trick, they have turned out really well.

Very cute shirts, congratulations. I have also used those metal legal file clips (with hinges) or these big plastic quilting clips (hold a lot of bunched up fabric) that are C-shaped. Whatever works. We're like magicians!
