Here's a funny for all of you. Yesterday, I had to have a procedure done to remove an embedded kidney stone. So I was still a little goofy earlier today. You know that funny movement we all do when we are putting up the footrest with the lever and leaning back at the same time in a recliner? Well....you know what happens when you do that movement but forget to use the lever? Nothing. Nothing at all. Except laughing.

It was one of those perfectly executed moments that would have been perfect for the old Carol Burnett show. Couldn't re-create it if I tried. So very funny

It was one of those moments that "you had to have been there" but now I think about it every time I sit in that chair!

Oops! I can see this in my mind and I don't even know what you look like! Don't try to drive a clutch till your meds are fully gone.

Picture an average fifty-something, with my little afghan for comfort and my book for entertainment, thinking I had it all together and then the recliner episode. It was funny.

Lots of grossness goes along with it. I have a stent now that goes from inside my kidney all the way to my bladder. Not very comfy. But it will help me heal, so I'm trying not to complain.

It's was kind of embarrassing, but only my husband saw it. If my daughters had seen me do it, I would never hear the end of the teasing. Good times.

It was funny. I thought I was being so organized--had my book and my blanket, and was going to have a nice rest. Then the fiasco, and I was laughing so much I wasn't tired anymore.

It was really funny. I hate having to keep adjusting the chair, so I was throwing myself back with force.

Love these cute stories, it is a good laugh at ourselves. I hope the procedure went well. Hugs, Suzanna

The procedure was Monday, and I haven't bounced back as quickly as I expected. I guess it's the infection that went along with it. So far, I haven't done anything really goofy since the "recliner experience" but I don't rule out anything lately'
