Ideas/comments/help/

PLEASE:
I am getting my hair cut tomorrow---I have at least 12 inches--I have donated at least 3 times over the last several years----I would love to donate it to an organization that is TOTALLY NON-PROFIT!!!!! I would love the hair to go to an organization that makes wigs that go DIRECTLY to people who need wigs due to cancer treatment or other issues that have caused them to lose their hair-----FREE OF CHARGE to the patient/recipient is what I am looking for----There are so many who need/want/would love to have a wig because of cancer treatment---and who can't get one because of the expense.......Any and all ideas are welcome-----Thank you and GOD bless you..

I wish I could help. I googled "places to donate hair" and a whole bunch of them showed up. I am sorry but I do not have the time to research them all, but maybe you can take a stab at it. Thanks for caring

Great idea, the first thing I'd do would to ring your local Cancer Council shop in whatever town you live in. Over here in Australia, we have them in most major cities. Good luck and it's such a great gift to give someone who has lost their hair due to the treatment for cancer. Love Chris

Thank you so much . My eldest daughter has twice shaved her head when they have the Shaveathon for cancer here in South Africa.

Now I can get busy and get some embroidering and sewing and knitting done-----and while at the hair cutting lady (whom I have known for about 30++ years) I inherited a nice little sewing chair with a lift up seat-----o, my----I know several young girls who are getting started---one of them will inherit the cute sewing chair unless I find a place for it myself---NOTTTTT----GOD bless Y'all and keep Y'all safe!!!!!!

If cutting your hair makes you 'LOOK' like you lost 10 pounds, then I want to shave my head!-lol

I was going to say we wanted to see a before and after photo. I read below you got it cut already. I still want to see your cut. I am always changing hair styles/colors, etc.-lol I am in need now-lol
I know how you feel about the weight of hair. Mine is longer than I've had it, as for as not being layered and it is heavy. I used to wear my hair to my waist when I was young ,eons ago:( and one time I went from that length to about my ears. My grandmother and I both cried-lol-
Hope you find a place you are happy to send to and no joke, I want to see your new 'do'. Toogie
