I am staying in Johannesburg at the moment. This morning my daughter treated me to a wonderful pedicure and manicure. As it is school holidays Georgie was allowed to have her fingers and toes painted. She was also allowed to have a henna tattoo. Hope it fades before she goes back to school. It was great to be so pampered .

She is growing up too fast. She wants pierced ears as all her friends have but she has been told that she must wat until she is older

Henna last about 3 weeks so loads of time to enjoy the beautiful patterns. Did you have anything done apart from what you said? Enjoy your time in Joburgh

No, only my toes and nails. At home I just have my toes painted once a month.

Gorgeous Georgie! Bet if she loves the Henna tattoo that she would also likely love the machine embroidered bridal glove that usually has a delicate chain or other loop that loops around either the ring or middle fingers then covers most of the back of the hand then goes partway up the lower arm but I can imagine it going up the arm very much like her henna tattoo. Machine embroidery really is only limited by our imaginations and supplies we can acquire. I'm glad you had time to share the pampering time together. They grow up far too quickly. I'm off to Belmont in a minute to the post office, then a Mammogram and off to the swimming pool This afternoon I'm taking Mum to the doctor's and will then come back home to finish off the seams on Ophelie's dress. I decided to unpick the 11 layers of Tulle that wer all sewn together and do them individually as that way they flare out more! And wouldn't you know it, my overlocker has died again!
So I'll use one of the overlocking style designs on my Husqvarna and sew the seams with that. Things we do for our children's children!!! Love Chris

Hope the tulle is behaving itself
Yes, it worked a treat. I've been to Amy's and dropped both dresses off and gave her a cuddle and said I'd see her next week in Bali on the day before her wedding. They leave this Sunday! Can't believe it's nearly here. Love Chris
