Just finished another sweater for skinny jeans or leggings....the blue part of the sweater bottom is not stitched together, so it has a deep vent on both sides.... this will be for my fall show.....

That looks very pretty! I love the colours and the ribbon-like yarn.
My grandma used to knit scarves in that pattern for church sales, always in grey as she and many ladies her age wore the (local) Scheveningen costume - not to be confused with the so-called Dutch costume, which does not really exist. She called it the Lazy Women's stitch.

Glad to bring back memories for you.......this stitch gave a great drape along with the ribbon yarn....also it was fast!
