I have been putting off this job of making Georgie's doll a school outfit. I knew it would be a swine to do and I was right. At school the girls are allowed to have a brooch or a pin on the collar. I decided that the doll must have a decoration on her collar. The ladybird was the smallest design I had. I have enclosed a school picture of Georgie. I will be sending it to Johannesburg next week.

Yes Kay, it is. They are all the rage here in S.A. at the moment. Ridiculously expensive.
I found the patterns in the books will not work as the core or middle - waist are too small. I have not made any clothes in a while as the my grand daughters are too old now but you almost have a doll on hand to sew for and measure.
