I would have been afraid to put them on terry because of the scroll work , but the the stitches didn't sink in at all. Did you use water soluble topping?

The gold thread really suits these lovely designs.I thought steampunk was the use of metal objects eg cogs ,washers ,nails or other bits & pieces to makes something new ,especially in jewllery.
