Well, this is addicting!! Yesterday I didn't do much around the house...my sewing room called!
The lavender doily uses 3 designs from Sue Box: one called Lavender Spray and the border is made using the corner and straight edge from her Straight Edge Border Set. This was done in my 200X360 hoop. Again, in the round doily, I used her Versatile Doily 1 as the frame. The centre? I have no idea as it was uncatalogued so I'm not sure who to give the credit to. It was done before I did the geranium doily as an experiment.
When I first got my Pfaff 2140 I bought one of their limited edition CDs called Butterflies. No magic in that as I just stitched out what was there (no software manipulation). I used a fabric marker for the painted butterflies, did the design and added some 3D as accents. This sits on the dining room table when it's not in use.
Today is Mothers' Day and I pray that all of you ladies receive blessings from God in your daily lives. Be women as described in Proverbs 31 and your lives will bless those around you. Hugs, Avis
Happy Stitching & Happy MOther's Day
Are the borders in the first photo from Sue's Sparkling Christmas collection?
Hugs, Lidia
I do see Sue's designs pop up in the most extraordinary places.
One time I saw it as a complete project, but I think it was one she did for one of the sewing machine companies, so it is not on her web site.
I have quite a few of her designs too.
