Good for you. That is a great find. A couple of weeks ago I went shopping with my granddaughter and to my surprise the purchase of over $ 20.00 turned into around $3. The pattern we purchased was only 50 cents. These must be super specials at JoAnns and not advertised, because I would have thought that the pattern isle would have been mopped at that price.

Took a trip to a couple JA in my area and scored several pricey buttons ($9-$10 regular price) and even a couple project boards (hearts 7x8 in) that were packaged with beads and buttons to decorate. Granddaughters will have a ball this summer and all for 50 cents each. Thanks for sharing.

You were so lucky with the price of your buttons.
Yesterday & today I have been shopping for buttons for a coat I am making.Found out that the size buttons I want are $2 - $4 each & I need 5.Even self cover buttons work out at 90cents each ,I only had 3.Found some today in a box marked half price at a sewing centre ,that worked out at $1.25 each ,made out of some type of resin.
Everything has gotten so expensive ,probably because of our low dollar .Over heard a couple complaining at the price of velcro that they were interested in $9 a metre ,they didnt buy it.
