Here in NSW we are also experiencing severe storms and torrential rain. Just praying the river doesn't rise this time.

Thank you Meg. We have not had rain since October and we also had a very hot summer. I am quite looking forward to the cooler weather

Where I live in Knysna, we have had gale force winds since last night. As the areas around us are mainly pine forests there are fires all around, being fed with winds. It is too windy for the helicopters to go up and take water out of the sea to help with the fires. There is a smokey air in the house but we are safe. Cape Town still is having nasty weather but at least they are getting rain.
