My daughter inspired me to come up with this idea a while back as she loves to put her tooth safely under her pillow for the tooth fairy. Personally I think it is so she can hold onto it through the night to check when the tooth fairy has been! I think I have made one for almost each tooth she has lost for the last 6 months. It is just 2" and the right size for a tooth and for the fairy to fit a coin inside.

Too cute! My kids liked them under the pillow also. I've managed to convince the grandkids we are raising now that the tooth fairy won't come unless it is hanging in a special pillow by the bed. LOL No more trying to find the tooth under the pillow and waking the little ones up!

Love your story ...

I tried that but my little one wouldn't have it, so we have kept with family tradition

to make sure the children won't wake up, i tell them that we have to hang a little pillow on the door knob....

nope....my grand children rate used to be one dollar, then it went up to five....but they going to teach the youngest on to get less than that, he is five so it will be soon...

In our house it is usually a shiny gold coin. The big molars usually fetch more, sometimes 2 gold coins or a $5 note.
