we just got back from a wonderful trip for my DH VietNam reunion with the gents he served with. Fort Wayne is amazing. We were treated to a chocolate factory tour with samples and also wineries with samples.... The weather was great but most of all, the fabulous people that were there. Cherished memories were made.

That seems to be a cathartic reunion as veterans seem universally to feel that only comrades can truly understand what they went through and I'm sure that is true. I'll bet it was joyous to be together again and sharing.

There is a special bond between man that served in the military. I bet your husband cherished the reunion. You sound happy too. Wine and chocolate? Wow.

So happy to hear you and your DH had a wonderful reunion...thank you both for his service...that era was especially a tough one for our veterans and their families...
