You all would have been so proud of our Lillian and her Ron at this service. It was beautifully done and showed the great love and care and respect they have in their church. I saw almost no tears anywhere, but an incredible number of smiles and long hugs and "I love you"s and kind words When we stepped out to the grave for the committal, a gentle rain began - just a dusting, that felt like the glory and grace of God himself. I gave Lillian a hug from all of you. Your kind words I'm sure have encouraged her greatly.

Sending hugs. Thank you Betsy for including all of the cuties in your hug. I'm sure many of us would have liked to have been there in person to support Ms. Lillian. I am continuing to keep you in prayer. May you be blessed with God's love and peace.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your dear Ron. You have been such a good, devoted wife. My thoughts and prayers go with you.

I am so grateful Ron was able to be home and being cared lovingly by you through these final weeks and months. His few days in respite care, though needed by your body, was a tough few days for you. As difficult as some of the rough times were caring for him yourself, I know there would have been no other choice you would have accepted. Your sweetheart knows of your love. So grateful for Betsy being able to come to the funeral, as well as Meganne being able to spend some time on the phone with you, truly friendships that will last beyond the grave. Thankful Ron is no longer in pain or struggling. Having devoted so much time and energy to Ron's care you will now have a big adjustment to how you fill those hours of your day.
