I need suggestions for a gift. A former coworker drove me an hour away for me to have a daith piercing done in my ear that could possibly help these daily migraines. We were under a time crunch with other obligations, so I didn't get a chance to pay for her gasoline or buy her lunch, so I want to make something for her. She is not a fussy, fancy person and will retire in May. I'm thinking maybe a pretty notebook cover? Or vinyl zippered bag? Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I think they are both lovely ideas. I like doing tote bags and find it nice to fill one with little things like a pretty coaster or mug rug and some yummies that the person can enjoy. I'm glad you have someone who cares and helped you out when you needed help.

thank you. I'm not a fancy person either, so going to a tattoo parlor to get this piercing felt very brave to me. I just hope it works.

I hope it works for you, too. Please let me know, my sister suffers terribly with migraines.
I love Karen's suggestion.

Just had to look it up. Ouch looks painful. Hope it works for you.
I think a Tote Bag or a zipper pouch would be nice.

It was very painful for about 5-10 seconds. Then, just a little soreness.

I'm with Karen...I think a tote bag filled with some "goodies" would be a lovely gift....

I'm tossing around ideas that would all fit into a tote. Thank you.

How about a little bag with either a VISA card, gas card, and some treats she can have while driving?Come in handy in emergency when funds are low.
