Made these tooth fairy pillows from a free pattern from Embroidery Garden. The mouth is a pocket. I made the red one first for my great newphew we are raising. He has terrible nightmares from when his dad took him along on nefarious activities. He is in counseling and we've tried lots of different things to help him feel safe but nothing lasts very long. I told him this pillow could also eat his nightmares as well as hold a tooth. This morning he said he thinks the monster is helping and i have gotten several hugs from him today. Of course his sister had to have a monster as well.

I hope the monster maintains the special magic and keeps the nightmares away. They are very nicely done. Love those faces.

You have done a wonderful job with the pillows, and lets pray the nightmare will stop, with the comfort of this lovely little friend. Sandra.

Yes, Karen your story touched my heart today. I work at a school and just this morning a friend and I were talking about little ones we came in touch with in our jobs that we just want to gather up to hug away their fears or calm their anger that is really a defence. A brilliant idea you came up with and I really do hope it continues to be successful. 10 marks and sincere congratulations!!

It is so disheartening what some of these little ones go through. I sometimes wish I could let their Dad "have it" as we are gradually finding out some of the things our little ones went through when they were with their dad. Right now he is locked up for 32 years. Of course he is fighting it and has a court date in October. Praying he does not get out on a technicality.

OH, Bless his heart. I know that this pillow must put a smile on his face as I'm sure you do also. I pray the nightmares go away for good. God Bless you and him also. :)
