This table runner was English paper pieced by hand, but quilted on my embroidery machine. The second picture is the back of the runner. I digitised the quilting design to fit the large hexagon shapes.

It is so relaxing as well as being portable. I always have some with me if I am away from my machine.
I pick up my knitting if I am watching TV or while traveling.

I 2 love hand sewing and quilting, not many people hand sew or quilt, you project is perfect, I am working on some hand quilted curtains valances, I have finished the quilting on one of them and am working on the second one I hope to get it done soon.
