Fresh out of the hoop - this green man has been in my head for a couple of weeks while I have been away and has just seen the light of day for the first time. He is made in the hoop using felt (3 hoopings) and measures about 30 cm across. I plan to stretch him over a square canvas just as soon as I can find one!

I can see him stiched on vinyl( just the leaves and eyes) and use a real tree for the background. Place in the front yard, he would make a whimsical welcome without words.

Wow, my mind is working on what I can use this design on. Is the Green Man particular to Lincolnshire or does he appear elsewhere in Britain or around the world?
