My favorite activity while sewing on my quilts is letting the other machine stitch out FSL. This took 5 hoopings in the 4x4 frame. The great grands will like that one.

That was a chance to use up some of my smaller pieces of WSS.

Looks brilliant. If I made one I'd forget where I had put it when Christmas comes!

This is lovely and so cute. Great job! You are certainly an expert at FSL. I have never had much luck with FSL. Only time I tried it, I did not use thick enough WSS, and my machine jammed, resulting in the timing being thrown off and a $70 repair bill. Needless to say I have never tried it again.

Thank you.
Sorry about your machine. I use a double layer of the cloth type WSS like Vilene and not the plastic looking kind. I hope you will give it another try.

Thank you for your suggestion of what type of WSS to use. I am not familiar with anything but plastic looking WSS, so I will look into it next time I am at a fabric store that carries a good selection of types of WSS.
