Here are some pictures from my recent trip around a couple of folk festivals. I love to collect pictures of the Morris costumes - particularly when they are English Paper Pieced.

The video is of Mike and I with a group of people we had been teaching over a weekend. At least half of them were complete beginners on the Saturday morning and here they are on the big stage by Sunday Lunchtime!

The dancers are traditional English Morris Dancers. There are several styles of dancing from different areas of the country. These teams are called Ragged and Old and Pig Dyke Molly. All teams have a distinctive "uniform".
