Crazy Patch Square

I was inspired to try the ITH Crazy patch squares after seeing the ones done by Crafter 2243.
This is my first attempt using scraps. Made the square in the hoop then added a border to it on the sewing machine. Hooped it again with batting and a backing on it and did a shell design as the stippling.
I am happy with my first attempt. I made the border wide so I have plenty to trim when ready to put them together.
Have been sewing Shirts and have 40 buttonholes to do so needed a distraction and this was just the thing.
For anyone who hasn't tried it do so it is fun.

Well done Barbara, I got the design too, but haven't tried it as yet. Too busy renovating our home at the moment. I'll try it later. Love Chris

Thanks Chris. It was interesting to do and I used some of the shirt scraps as well. I wasn't worried about matching colours.

I am glad you had fun. I think I will try the sandwich as well. One can not worry about colors. It's a great feeling to use up some of those scraps. Can't wait to see the finished project

Thank you for showing your work and the site name. Cost of $1.25 USA for 12 sets is good value as everything else is just scraps. Will be a while before it is finished.
