I know that I've probably bored you to death with info about my granddaughter, but this photo really sums her up. Her little pool is dry, and she still insists on playing with/in it! She definitely marches to her own drummer! Strong-willed is her style; and she's only 15 months old!

It looks like a red cloud on the top of her head! Her mom,my daughter, is also a redhead, as am I. So I'm loving this red hair, but oh the temper that comes with it!

Strong-willed was one of the many early indicators I had that my son was very high IQ. I kept trying to break that will. He simply knew he knew what was best. Another was that he thought "outside the box" on almost everything. They should prepare themselves for genius!!! (Easy for you, you're the grandma and can hand her back....)

This week she has decided to walk on tiptoe, but only one foot. So she looks like a little drunken sailor crookedly going around, but she is having a lot of fun. The days I keep her I sure am tired by the end of the day! But oh, the grandma love is so wonderful.
Yes, I know how tired you feel because I am there many days. We are not young as our grown kids are and I think they think we can do it all still.

I know some people aren't fond of red hair, but I personally love it. Of course, she could have polka dotted hair and I would still think its beautiful!

She definitely has strong opinions, that's for sure. But she is a cuddler too and this week at naptime I got to hold her until she was asleep. What a precious bundle. Did my heart good.

Thank you. It is just now starting to grow some length. But both my girls were bald too, and they have the thickest hair imaginable now. Riley, my granddaughter, just fills me with joy.

She is exhausting at times, but I love to see her figure things out. Some days I can't wait for her to take her nap! We are so fortunate to live close to her and to be a part of her life.
