I just got Truembroidery Software for my Mac. I love it, but I am having trouble with the stichout. The bobbin thread is pulling through the design. I've tried changing the bobbin tension on my machine but it doesn't help. Does anyone have any ideas

Is it the top tension that needs adjusting?

Lessen yyour top tension.I have a special bobbin case for embroidery with more tensionon bobbin thread. This pulls top thread more to the back side. I marked it with fingernail polish.

More info please! Is this a design you digitized yourself? Or just one you have not tried before? You should not have to change your tension when in embroidery mode.

Need you to come back to us with a bit more information. I have never had a problem with bobbin thread since buying pre wound bobbins. I would never go back to winding my own.

Some machines do not like prewounds at all. My Ruby uses the Viking bobbin that has a curved bottom. Unfortunately the prewounds tend to dance in the bobbincase. I love to use them in my 4-needle though.

Hi littlechicken, I wrote a message earlier and somehow it has disappeared. I wanted you to know that first of all you must make sure the bobbin is put in the right way (there is a wrong way to put it in, believe me). If it is put in the wrong way it causes all sorts of issues.
I'm sure others will come along and help you out.

Welcome to cute - if you need to know how to check out this website check the Q&A section and it explains a lot. Love Chris, Newcastle, Australia.

Her post had (accidentally?) been created 4 times in various places. The one you commented on was in Personal -- so it was removed. Thank you for understanding and for helping new Cuties.

Hi Rescuer, I thought maybe I hadn't hit submit and as I had to go out for most of the day I then second guessed myself. Thanks for explaining. Love Chris
