I've noticed that when I stitchout a design that my fabric shrinks the WOF but not length. Not a lot, but enough to throw a frame off. I do use a basting stitch, but does not help. I've tried different kinds of stabilizers but so far none fixes the problem 100%. I haven't used a cutaway because it won't work with how I like my mug rugs. I'm not getting puckering, just that the frame is thrown off a little. I've been heavily starching the fabric and that helps.

I use a bottom weight fabric that is pretty heavy, so I can't decide if the fabric is shrinking because it is the WOF, or if the thread is taking up the fabric in the areas that are dense.

I was thinking of trying Terial Magic. Does anyone have experience with this product? It's sort of expensive for the amount I'd need.
