Very nice design.....looks great on the black. I bet it would look awesome on the blue or even slate gray

The blue felt I have seen in a large store wasn't dark enough and I didn't think to check about a slate gray one. Thanks for suggesting it and for your comment.

What a marvelous stitchout! Your thread choices really make this design come alive, and that rope frame is just the perfect ending. I'm curious as to how you attached the hanger. I can't tell if the bow was stitch on or attached through holes in the fabric.

I have embroidered two round button-holes (a freebie I saved many ears ago) and you can see one of them under the ribbon. So I cut through the two button-holes and used two thin ribbons to attach the wall-hanging. The bow isn't stitched onto the fabric. Thanks for your comment, Penny.
