Ya'll, I've just gotten home from the BEST day I've had in a LONG time! I'm the lucky one that gets to post the pictures because my DH (darling husband) Mike, took the photos for us today because we couldn't stop talking. 2 hours passed in what felt like 2 minutes. Several days ago Toogie announced that she was going on a southern bus route trip and she and Miss Lillian (Lbrow) arranged a meeting at the Birmingham (Alabama) Botanical Gardens today at 12:30. I got wind of it and asked Toogie if I could barge in on their meeting since I was only 3 hours away and then Graceandham will have to tell you how she found out and she came, too! We had the best time and it was like I had known all of them forever. I'm still giddy. What sweet, sweet folks did I have the pleasure of meeting in person. I won't post all of the photos, just too many. LOL<br /><br />
Photo one is : Betsey (graceandham), Miss Lillian (lbrow), Toogie and me, Jerrilyn. Photo 2 is Toogie, jrob, lbrow and graceandham. Photo 3 is just before we found Miss Lillian; me, toogie, graceandham. Photo 4 is us posing in the Rooster shirts graceandham made for us, then photo 5, the back of her shirt with all of the chicks; please notice that there is one for each of us. :). Photo 6 is of the sweet gifts exchanged among us friends today, the Christmas tree sweatshirt, rooster shirt and FSL bookmark from graceandham, the beautifully embroidered notebook and beautiful piece of fabric from Toogie and the sweet angel that Miss Lillian made out of an antique pillowcase. It's a post angel to go on a poster bed, but mine will hang over the bed from the wall as you can see I don't have any posters. Thank you all for letting me be a part of this and for the warm and welcoming feeling I've been carrying throughout this day. REAL hugs! <br /><br />
P.S. Thanks to Miss Lillian's beautiful daughters and sweet son-in-law for bringing her with post surgical leg pain.

So, the best lesson of the day is your Cute friends are even more fun in person, even though they are a lot of fun right here. And the second lesson is, when Toogie announces her next trip, sign up to meet up with the Sisters! Four Cuties and one Cute husband today. I'm just saying that 'cause I got that he has a bit of an ego. Someone was watching Mike push off the grandson on the bike in a video on cell phone and said "he's so cute." And of course Mike said, "Why thank you." As for how I found out, I think I read it from a Toogie post and then hunted up a phone number for Miss Lillian and got details.

It will be a memory I shall hold in my heart forever. So very wonderful to finally get to hug my sister Cutes. You have no idea what it meant to me or how much I love you. It's like we have been in each others lives forever. Thank you for your gifts, thank you Jerrilyn for bringing your precious husband and Toogie for your sweet friend, Trudy, and you Betsey for being such a dear friend. It was truly a joyous time and my girls really commented on how super nice you all were. Love you Lillian. PS. We really must do this again sometime!

Well, move over Rescuer...I am JEALOUS too!!! What a wonderful way to spend the day...how lucky you all are to have been able to arrange your schedules to meet on Toogie's vacation...So, Toogie...when you coming to Southern California...for that matter, when are the rest of you coming to Southern California??? The gifts are lovely and extra special as you were able to receive them in person...looks like great weather too...lucky, lucky lucky ladies!!!

Oh what a great set of pictures. Meeting other cuties face to face is very special and we can all see what a great time that you were having. Birmingham UK is where some of the UK Cuties have met at sewing shows... so Birmingham is a great place for Cuties wherever it is in the world. As Sarah says it would have been great to have been there too.

What a delight to share in the reunion. I wish I could still drive the 6 hours on my own, I would have been there too. But this was so much fun to see the the pictures and read the comments. We Cuties are a close and loving bunch even with the distances between us.
