Hi Cuties, today is a beautiful day in Melbourne, 28 Celsius, (82 Fahrenheit) finally spring is here and I walked four hours trough the bush this morning to take this picture. Hope you like it: it got "Australia" written all over!

Hi Roberta, it's been very hot here today in Newcastle too and as I write this reply it's still 28C.
I'm not sure if you are aware or not but I was born in South Australia and that tree shape reminds me of the Old Gum Tree at Glenelg (Holdfast Bay). Of course the one down there has been forever preserved and has a cover over the top of it.

And 20 degrees cooler 10 days later!! (in the morning at least) 25 was the maximum. Spring is always like that - hot one day, very cool the next.

It is a return to winter here in coastal region of south Australia. Plenty kangaroos and emus too.

Wonderful picture. Love the trees and the lone kangaroo! He looks like he is watching you closely! Our weather is just the opposite of you. This morning we had our first snow! It didn't last long but it will soon! Glad that you are getting to enjoy warmer weather! (I'm in Michigan by the way) DebB
