Hello-o-o Cuties! I am back! Actually I have been back a week but been really busy. Besides having so much company I took 3 days and cleaned walls and everything on them and in each room from top to bottom. Finished Friday but rested Sat and Sunday. I didn't get in my sewing room, though. I think that will take 3 days by itself-lol-(one friend said 2 weeks!-lol)
Anyway, I enjoyed my trip so much! Nothing like meeting some Cuties!!! I L-O-V-E-D my (too little) time with them! A whole day wouldn't have been enough! I know the others have filled you in but I wanted to say a few days after we got back, my friend Trudy called. She said she had been telling all her friends about our trip and about meeting my sewing friends. She said this was the high light of HER trip. She is sentimental/emotional too. She told them how I have talked to you all for 10+ years and had never met face to face, until that day. She said we looked like we had been friends for years and I told her 'We have!'-lol
I really enjoyed the walks along the beach and boardwalk. I almost panicked when I had trouble finding my way out of the Battleship Wisconsin at Norfolk, Va. I asked the attendant on top deck had a sailor ever gone AWOL on board ship? He just laughed and said they have to learn the numbers above the hatch or doors to learn their way. I also loved the coolness of walking through the Sarah Duke Gardens in Durham, North Carolina. I thought of how God walked in the garden at the cool of the day.We also cruised on the Spirit of Norfolk and had dinner and dancing one night.
I hope to get back into my sewing/embroidering next week. Christmas will be here before I am ready. Now I have to catch up on all you have been doing and making. So have a good day, my Cuties!-Toogie
Loved hearing about your trip. It sounds like so much fun.
Thanks I missed you all too!
Be sure and show us the before and after of your rooms. I know you will be happy when it is all finished and you can get back to 'normal'.
Nora is still here. We went thrift shopping and she bought a Mickey Mouse guitar, to which she said, "Now Santa doesn't have to bring me one!"-lol-
