Hello Cuties, I am feeling rather smug about this, even though it took me most of the day-lol-This is my version of Santa's cookie and milk placemat (too big for a mug rug).

I used Cute Embroidery's Santa on the lower right corner (see link below) but I omitted his pockets by skipping those stitches (I hope you don't mind Ms V).

The gingerbread man was from ages ago, just filed as gbman. I have the gbGirl, too but no idea where they were from, but I downloaded in 2012. The outline is off leaving empty spaces, so it is a good thing it's on a busy fabric square. All in all I am satisfied.

I made a pocket for his cookies (see 3 rd photo). And lastly, I remembered my 'Toogie' brand!

I hope you like what I came up with and also hope it excites Miss Nora! Have a great day or night my friends!-Toogie
I did a background stipple ITH though, on each square, then embroidered what I wanted on each. Centered and then cut to size 6 1/2 square taking 1/2 inch seams, when I sewed my blocks together. I ended up with a whopping, nearly 12 inch square....I bet you could design something like this ITH though!....

Love this mat. Think Miss Nora will love it too.
Toogie the designs are from a set - CharmingStation-ChristmasCookieSet. The gingerbreads come with some other cookies: rendeer, candy-cane star & stocking.
Nora chose the green one I just posted.
I have lots of Santa and Cookie designs so I could follow your lead and make some.
You are such an inspiration. Thank you.
