***Cuties*** I don't want to kick a hornets nest... But it seems some users need a reminder. We have had to remove a few offers to "share" over the last few weeks.
Please do not "share" files with anyone -- especially here on Cute. Do not offer to send the requested file using the Cute PM system. It is against the Terms and Conditions you agreed to when you signed up here. It is not "helping" someone in need. You -- both the sender and recipient -- could be banned from this website. "Sharing" (even free designs from the DBC) is stealing and not allowed. Sharing files you did not create is against the law. Please encourage your embroidery friends to obey the law and have respect for the digitizers.

I'm glad you have posted this and would not complain if this was posted every few months. It is illegal as well as going against the Terms and Conditions and puts our beloved Cute family at risk for being shut down. And my Cute family means more to me than any one being selfish and wanting to get a design illegally.

Not only I agree with you, but I would like to suggest to have a fixed banner at the top of the page/pages stating that
"Sharing embroidery files that you didn't create is against the law and the sender and recipient could be banned from this site"
Many people don't read the terms and conditions, that's why I would suggest a banner at the top of the page/s.

I agree we all need to be diligent in this and all the Terms and Conditions. Maybe lidiad's suggestion could be a path to follow.

Amen to all of this.......and don't worry, Rescuer, it is way too cold for hornets around here.......LOL! You all do such a great job at keeping things "contained" for Veronika.....the mods are a blessing to us and this website!!!
