Ya'll this is from my daughter who was talking to my granddaughter at the time. (This is the 5 year old that I keep).Cute story - Babygirl and I were talking about the huge lighted star in town and she said, “I know who made that! The King of Georgia. And it’s for the Grand Prize, and the Grand Prize is Jesus!”

Oh, be still my heart!

And Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." How innocent are the thoughts of little children. She has her heart in the right place alright. Love Chris

She's ready, Chris. She just doesn't quite know it yet. She loves Jesus for sure.

Yes, and I wish I could record her prayers, but she won't let me, she said it's just for Jesus.

What a precious story!

It reminds me of my girls when they were young. My oldest decided to put on a Christmas "play" for my husband and me. Being the oldest, and rather bossy, she would take on all the "talking" roles. Her younger sister was conned into playing the "props" for her sister's monolog.

"Mary and Joseph went to a barn to get their baby" she says, pulling a doll from behind her sister's back. "Congratulations!" she shouts, "it's a KING!"

Isn't it amazing how great that faith is and why don't we desperately hold onto it?
