I've been at our grandchildren's school from 9.00 till 1.15 today for the presentation of their Awards.
I'm one very proud Nanna - Ryke who is in Year 6 and goes off to High School next year won an Academic Excellence for his Book award. Certificate and plaque were for the Performing Arts Award. His teacher told us that he has a great voice and should continue with it. Maybe one day he might be a well know entertainer!!
Jasana won an Academic Achievement Award for her Book award and Aqualina won a Quality award. I'm tickled pink for Dana as these children are a real asset/ blessing to her and Jason. Love Chris

Hi Deb, yes, Dana being a teacher herself, is a strict taskmaster. The kids all have done so well. It's a great school and all the kids love being there. Love Chris

Yes, it's so nice that I can do this. My mother and Grandmother could never come to my schools for open days etc. Both women never learned to drive!

Thanks Sarah, all the schools in Australia are getting ready to finish off for Christmas holidays. Private schools finish today and the public ones finish next Friday. Love Chris

Thanks Toogie, it's such a pity that I couldn't be in two places at once as it was Cooperl's presentation day too yesterday at another school. Cooper is Ben's eldest boy. Our son Ben has 3 boys Cooper, Chase and Cohen! We don't get to see them as much as the girls etc. Love Chris
