My youngest really wanted one of the elf on a shelf dolls but I could not justify $69AUD on one.
So I made her a sweet girl elf. She is made in the hoop about as tall as a barbie doll. I opted to do the final stitch line on my regular machine so I could make sure I had everything lined up properly. The hardest part though was turning all of her parts right side out including the ears! Thank goodness for haemostats and alligator forceps.
I wonder what mischief she will get up to. My daughter is super excited but I told her if the elf is too naughty the elf will have to live with Santa until her mischief magic disappears on Christmas Day
UPDATE: This little girl is now named Lucy and was caught reading one of our Christmas books The Naughtiest Reindeer. My daughter squealed and said "I hope she is not getting any ideas!"
