Bathtowels -
I had to embroider 12, 4 white ones with names of children (which I did before Christmas), the other 8 in assorted colours with the logo Perseverabo - I will persevere. I hate those small letters and half way through decided to emboss lightly under them.
It has 27.330 stitches, size is 3.75"x 4.9" or 95x124 mm.
The thick towelling is not the easiest to stitch on, the machine did not quite like it and me and my seam ripper had more quality time together than I hoped for..
Now I have to stitch two towels for my neighbour with her fantasy family crest.

They look beautifully done despite their "attitude" that resulted in the need to "straighten" them out with the seam ripper!

Twelve towels sounds like a shipping order to me. Well done to you on your efforts, embroidering towels isn't fun and sorry you and your seam ripper have spent too much time together. Unpicking towelling isn't fun

My mother-In-Law's maiden name is Wood and their motto is "Perserverando" so I thought this quite a funny coincidence!

That is a lot of stitches for such a small size, wow! I can't believe it turned out this great.

The satin stitches always have a high stitch count, but I agree it's quite a lot in total. The underlay under the whole lot makes gaps less likely and I am very grateful those did not occur!
