Thank you all for your kind words and prayers. Today is a celebration, my daughter surprised us and got married on Dec. 29th and one of my sons offered to host a small reception which was scheduled for today and we chose not to cancel. My new son in law is a wonderful man, they've known each other for 5 years and are very happy. So with my 3 month old granddaughter, my daughter's marriage, and my dad's passing I really feel that my family is experiencing the Circle of Life right now. Along with sadness I feel enormous joy and a sense that this is what life is all about.

I am so glad your life is filled with wonderful things -- enough so that the hard things in life can be put into that kind of perspective. I think we all struggle with the hard stuff like the loss of a close family member. But to find joy in our lives is a gift! May your life be filled with enough joy to weather the storms that come your way.
