A friend asked me to digitise a circular quilt label for her. It had fairly conventional wording which was in rows. (She stitched the design.) Then I had a request for a quilt label for a lady I'd made one for before. She gave me the wording she wanted which was a little bit unconventional and as I already had circles in mind, her wording became a spiral!

When the words were stitched, I covered the design with a piece of very thin fabric and stitched a circular outline. Out of the hoop, I cut a small slit in the lining to turn it through. Now she has a circular label which will be very easy to hand stitch to the back of her quilt.
