A recent post brought to my mind the time when I first discovered that our Cute website owner also owned the sister sites. They all have links at the bottom of the pages but I thought they were just advertisements. I hadn't spent any real time in the Community except to read posts on how to embroider.
I wonder, when did you learn about all the sister sites? I had been quietly downloading for some time before I discovered the sites were connected.

I think I figured it out in the first 3 months, but it was an AHA moment!

It was one of those moments for me too.

I can't remember. It was so long ago. :-)

I remember many of my "duh" moments. I am not sure how long it took me though. ;)

I think it was pretty quickly for me because others talked about the sister sites. I think my favorite has been Cute Alphabets. I've happily used them on many a project over the years.

When I first came to Cute (in the time of the pink and blue birds that were a sort of logo) there were separate tabs for alphabets and later for cross stitch as well before those sister sites were opened. I don't remember if AED was the first of them or if it already existed before I joined. Maybe jrob knows. Anyway, those tabs disappeared when the sister sites were established and the different forum tabs came into being. Quite a number of changes over the years!

I really don't remember which was first. Amazing Embroidery Designs was the 2nd (Cute was first) site I purchased a membership for, so I suspect it was probably first.
So I was here for the change -- I just thought there were fewer designs offered. I didn't see the announcement or if I did, I didn't connect one with another. I remember the birds too. I do miss the "lace" section.
You are right though -- this website has gone through many changes.
