UPDATED with more.----Hello Cuties, I thought of something else this evening to make for a trip gift. A clothes hanger cover, with a hidden zipper pocket. If you have a lot of clothes at home, maybe by the time a burglar finds this hanger the police will be there, if he finds it at all.
I made it to fit this hanger, with a swivel hook, but it will also fit a wire hanger or a plastic one that doesn't swivel. I put the pocket on what I call the back, as I like it to unzip from left to right. Of course, you could turn it either way.
The fabric was all given, so it just cost me zipper and thread. I may make a few more, if Cuties like this idea.Have a good night or day, where ever you may be-Toogie
I made two of those to go with my daughters' wedding dresses (1995 and 2000 resp.) from the leftover fabric bits and an embroidery matching the ones on the dress. Very posh. It had a zipper not at the bottom, but higher up, so nothing could fell out when you opened it when still on the hanger. Perfect for gloves or jewellery. However, neither of them used it for the wedding dress as that was stored in one of those huge clothes bags. The best made plans...
