This time my customer wanted 8 guest towels (30x55 cm) for other family members.
I hope I won't see another crest for a few months!
The colours in the picture are off as I used a flash. In real life the light blue is almost green.
Now I really have to do the Valentine challenge before I get other requests.

Martine I hoe that you have been paid well for this commission. Your work is excellent. Its great to be asked to do something but for me not in the quantity that you have had. Towelling isn't easy so I'm impressed. Have some fun with the Valentine challenge

Thank you. I was paid well, but embroidering them is fun for the first one, OK for the next, and then it turns into a chore. Well it pays for some accessories :)

Nice work. Cameras are funny sometimes. I have an African violet that is deep purple, and I cannot get either camera or phone to truly record it. It shows as blue. Strange.

They took 50 min each - sewing time. It's amazing how hooping, changing colours (8 colours, 10 changes), cutting jumps all adds up. So I decided to use two (different sized) hoops, so I could hoop one and cut all threads add the back did needed to be removed, while the other was stitching.
