I had the pleasure of actually hearing Suzanne's (sdrise) voice this morning! She wanted you all to know she has appreciated the million prayers we have been sending up for her. Yes, she actually said a million. She's very tired and working hard to regain her strength. She is looking at a long recovery. The procedures that were done in the morning before surgery were tough on her, but she is a trooper and got through the 4 hours of procedures, 2 hours of surgery and is now happily home and beginning to feel a bit better each day. She is looking forward to being able to type soon, but she cannot lift her arm yet to do this. So thank you to all of you who have been sending happy thoughts her way and to the prayer warriors who have been keeping her covered in prayers.
I will continue to pray for her and that she has a speedy recovery.
I am sure she will be able to read postings here and that they will help to give her the strength to push forward.
It is CRUCIAL, in regaining the full range of movement in her arm!
Being able to raise your arms above your head is required for so many, normal, everyday activities, applying makeup, combing one’s hair, getting dressed.
For inspiration you may remind her that I had nine surgeries on my left breast (in 14 months) and use of my left arm is now actually better than my right. All thanks to my Sister drumming this same advice into me too. 🙂😆
Sending HUGE hugs and positive energy. xxxx M
