I was sent these pictures yesterday by my eldest daughter Charlotte. They were taken at the end of 1969 at her Christening in Nairobi, Kenya. I have never seen these pictures before.

1) Me with Charlotte
2) My ex brother in law, Anthony
3) My best friend, Monica
4) Proud God parents

Unfortunately Monica died several years ago and Anthony has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. He lives in NZ and we write regularly.

Oh Sarah, what beautiful moments captured, for you to look back and enjoy! Everyone is so young and beautiful.
When I went on my trip to Virginia Beach, an old friend spent the night with me in South Carolina. She brought me a photo of my husband, our son, and myself when we were all in Germany. She said she kept it for the first 49 years, now I can keep it the next 49-lol-We looked and were young then too, even though my smaller grand kids may not think we were ever young!
