We went to a wildlife park recently and I just managed to sort through the photos and couldnt resist sharing these.
I couldnt believe these kangaroos relaxing in the shade, it wasn't even a really hot day. It is not often you get to see kangaroos this relaxed around people. These are a group of female kangaroos including some albinos, many of these have joeys in the pouch. The joey in the bottom right of the first photo belongs to the albino mum lying on her back. He is allowed to feed but she won't let him back in the pouch now as he is getting too big.
Also a pic of a fairy penguin. They are one of the few types of penguins that don't actually live in the snow.

I'm sure it's just his cute posture and profile, but the little penguin looks quite happy at the water's edge.

It was very cute, the keeper was trying to entice this little fellow into the water with a fish but he was having none of that as he didn't want to get wet!

We thoroughly enjoyed the wildlife when we visited Australia. I know the locals think the kangaroos are a nuisance but we were thrilled to see them. Thanks for the nice pics. Hugs. Nan

I have been feeling like the mom on her back, just wanna collapse! I thought no reason she is tried out, when I saw the size of her joey, then I read she won't carry him anymore. I must say, I can't blame her.
