Hi I have this machine. I am looking for the update version 4714-6311 (September 27, 2012).
I have the latest update version installed but it is not working for my machine. I want to go back to the 2012 version, install it, then try the latest update again.
I have had my machine updated by a tech (a few times) but the same problem "unexpected firmware error. Please restart machine" keeps occurring. This has only happened since I put the March 2016 update on my machine.
Thank you
Evelyn

It looks like you have a Husqvarna machine. If you have not got it saved on your computer you would have to get it from a dealer as the older updates are not available on the Husqvarna website anymore.

Hi Evelyn, I've just bought the new Premier + 2 Embroidery software programme. I used to have the 5D programme, but I wanted to start from scratch as we'd had our computer hacked last year. To buy the programme here in Australia it cost me $1200.00, and that's just for the system EXTRA. Good luck with your search and update on your machine. I see 'sewist1' thinks your machine maybe a Husqvarna Viking machine, if you can give us some more information there may be others on here who can help you.
I know Meg told me it would have been much cheaper for me to get the EMBIRD system, never mind!!! Love Chris

Those machine updates are not only brand specific but also differ for each model. My Ruby for instance needs update 5024-6373, the Ruby Royal 349-6373.
And unfortunately, as sewist1 said, older updates are no longer available.
Hopefully some Cutie will have saved the earlier version you need! Just tell what machine you use to make it easier to recognise.

Check with your dealer as they should have an earlier version that you can put on a usb stick for your machine. Hugs. Nan

Don't have this machine but is it possible to go back to factory settings on it? Does the manual tell you anything in trouble shooting section. I am sure Tech people could do it for you.

Hi
I Have the Husqvarna Viking Designer Diamond Deluxe. I am trying to locate an older update (4714-6311 (September 27, 2012) to reinstall it on my machine. I have the latest one on it now but I have had nothing but problems since I installed it. The problems may be related to any number of things but it they may be related to the latest update. I am taking it to my tech again next week but I'd still like to try my theory on it first. Thank you

Why don't you try contacting the Machine Support on the Viking website. If you are in the US there is a toll free number . If you are not in the US there is also an e-mail address.
Have a look at the answer in your other post. http://www.cuteembroidery.com/10655091_could-somebody-who-owns-husqvarna.html
Evelyn, from your posts on the Designer Gems Group it seems you have been having problems with the DDD since 2013. Surely your dealer should have sorted it out by now.
