I'm watching the PyeongChang Winter Olympics skating and the young man on the ice is just superb, his name is Nathan Chen from America he got a massive score of 215.08 in the free skating programme!!!!!!!!!!!!

So whilst the Television is going I've finished another 2 sets of the Fridge door wrappers. After making the second set I thought I'd make a left hand one and a right hand one. I don't know about you, but when I open the right hand door I don't like the wrap being facing your fingers. So I reversed the position of the flower and put it upside down in the hoop so that when the velcro goes on it's on the opposite side to the 'normal' one and it is much nicer on the handles now.
As you can see the second set on the right has the flower stems left and right - I hope you understand what I've done.

Thanks for looking, love Chris

1. First set of Fridge wrappers made on the 9th February.
2. Two sets finished today Saturday 17th February.

(For Toogie: they take about an hour to make and finished are 9 inches long by 5 and 3/4 inches wide.)

Very well done Chris! They are both lovely, but the second set is symmetrical, (I think that's the right word!) and that's how I like things! LOL
And yes, the skating has been great!

Thanks Mary and yes, you are right and because I'm a Libran I love everything to be balanced and neat and tidy! Thankfully Trevor and I complement each other in that way. Love Chris

I like the symmetrical pair. And I want things to look into the project - no left facing cat at the left side of a quilt or things like that - or like here the flowers facing each other.
I'd mirror the (combined) design, so I would not have to reposition parts.

Yes, Laura it's part of the pattern you place it on one side before you put the backing on. Love Chris

First picture is the two wrappers opened out with left side and the right side.

Second picture is the back of each of them left and right.

Hope Laura sees it. Love Chris

Thanks Barbel, I didn't modify it though, I just turned it upside down so I had a left and a right hand closing one! Love Chris

Thanks Sonja, I think they'll be appreciated, if not for the fridge, then for a seat belt of a trolley etc. Love Chris

I've been keeping an eye on this design. I haven't seen anything like it in any of the local craft fairs so I thought I'd make some sets in advance. I love the fact that you mirror images the design. Well done! Blessings, Avis

Thanks Avis, I only did it because the first set that I put on my fridge I found my right hand getting stuck in the fold of where the velcro was. Trial and error!
I'd love these for seat belt covers but made in a softer fabric like minky or a soft fleece of some kind that is washable. Love Chris
